Jeep to unveil 7 concept cars at the 2023 Easter Safari

Jeep has shared a number of teaser pics previewing the assorted off-roaders it will bring to the annual Easter Jeep Safari festival. Judging by these, both retro cars and cutting-edge EVs will be in the mix this time around.

One of the sketches depicts a Wrangler with red and blue accents and a prominent badge on the hood reading ‘Magneto 3.0’. In all likelihood, it is the third vehicle in the Magneto concept car lineup leading up to an all-new electric SUV.

The vivid yellow sketch pictures a vehicle with a vintage radiator grille sending us back to the 1960s or 1970s – to the models like the classic Cherokee or Wagoneer. The grille sits next to a rather modern-looking bumper and off-road tires.

Other pics hint at the coming of a hybrid Gladiator truck, a hardcore off-road edition of the Wrangler and a petrol-electric Grand Wagoneer. Our list of expectations also includes a Wrangler Single Cab truck and a five-door Wrangler with tubular doors instead of normal ones.

Some of the images have the Jeep Performance Parts badge showing, implying that the concepts slated for premiere at the Easter Safari will be sprinkled with OEM customization options. The company also promises to demonstrate to the audience how electrification affects the off-road performance of cars.

The 57th annual Easter Jeep Safari opens its doors on April 1, 2023. It is customary for the automaker to let the media reps shortly before the opening day, though.

Another thing that catches the eye is that Jeep apparently decided not to mod any compact crossover SUVs for this year’s event.
