DR Automobiles unveils multiple collector editions in Turin
The Italian automaker has attended this year’s Turin Auto Show with a plethora of special editions targeting car collectors.
The company’s crossovers called DR 3.0, DR 5.0, DR 6.0 and DR 7.0 are now available in a new trim called Collection, adding unique styling cues and lots of premium options to the standard cars.
Other than that, the four models remain based on the China-made Chery Tiggo 2 Pro, Tiggo 4, Tiggo 7 Pro Max and Tiggo 8 Pro, respectively. Aside from new radiator grilles, badges and some trim bits, everything else stays the same.
On the technical side of things, the company made its DR 6.0 and DR 7.0 models available with a plug-in hybrid system. It combines a 1.5-liter turbo engine with dual e-motors for a total of 317 PS (313 hp / 233 kW).
The DR 6.0 PHEV starts from €38,900 in Italy, while the seven-seat DR 7.0 PHEV model can be obtained from €41,900.
