Tesla Cybertruck previewed with new steering wheel and other options
The 2023 Tesla Investor Day that just took place in Texas featured a nearly production-ready example of the Cybertruck pickup. Those who missed the event may now watch the four-minute video showcasing the beta vehicle in detail.
Judging by it, the truck is indeed almost ready to roll off the assembly lines. It sports quite a few differences from the earlier concepts, including the steering wheel that’s no longer a yoke but a much more traditional-looking rounded wheel. That said, the designer still couldn’t resist making it almost square for no apparent reason other than aesthetic.
The center console between the seats has also been redesigned and looks larger than before. Video cameras all around the truck are used by the Autopilot tech on board.
The production is scheduled to begin in a few months now.
