Renault Alaskan facelifted in South America
Renault removed the Alaskan pickup from its European lineup long ago, but production continues in Argentina.
For the next model year, the truck has been refreshed with minor stylistic improvements. One of them is a blackout package for the exterior. Top trim buyers will be able to opt for a folding bed-access step below the rear bumper, gas struts for the bed walls, and plastic partitions. Last but not least, a plastic tonneau cover comes to replace the old-fashioned pop-up lid.
In Argentina, the Alaskan is still available with its original 2.3-liter turbo diesel engine in 160 PS (158 hp / 118 kW) and 190 PS (187 hp / 140 kW) variants.
