Evoluto rolls out a blue Ferrari F355 restomod
Evoluto, a Ferrari restoration shop with headquarters in the UK, has unveiled a Ferrari F355 restomod in a novel-looking blue carbon-fiber body. It is being advertised as a “peak analogue driving experience”.
Callum Designs handled the body design for the project. It looks pretty faithful to the original until you notice the larger front air intakes, modern front splitter and LED lighting all around.
The cabin also does its best to stay analog, but Evoluto says customers are welcome to order the equipment they like. The example in the gallery here sports a leather trim with microfiber inserts, as well as carbon and metal accents throughout.
Interestingly, the stock 3.5-liter V8 winds up with more than 200 mechanical upgrades primarily aimed at elevating the engine to “21st century reliability” standards. As a welcome side effect, the output goes up from the stock 379 PS (374 hp / 279 kW) to 426 PS (420 hp / 313 kW). The vibration is greatly reduced, too, and a new titanium exhaust system guarantees the engine a juicy soundtrack.
The pricing details are unknown. The company plans to make up to 55 such restomods, but customers will need to source their own F355 models somehow.
