Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz classic becomes a wooden replica
The Eldorado Biarritz is a retro Cadillac dating back to 1959, and YouTuber Awesome Woodcraft reasoned it would make a fine scale replica.
The author begins the work by choosing a wood block and cutting it in four places with a fret-saw to shape the sides, the doors, the front grille and the rear end. Once the rough shape was finished, the artist picked up a chisel to round the body corners, shape the radiator grille and add the model’s iconic tail fins.
The work then continues inside the car, where a dashboard appears alongside seats and door panels. The artisan even details the engine bay somewhat before covering it with a lid.
If you asked us, the suspension with its stainless-steel springs and joints would be our favorite part. You can actually rotate the steering wheel and make the front wheels turn.
Be sure to check out the 10-minute-long video when you have the time.
