Check out a Chevy Corvette with 26 km (16 miles) put on it in 47 years

This 1976 Chevrolet C3 Corvette was owned by the same owner throughout most of its life and almost never used: the current mileage displayed on the odo is 16 miles. Despite the rarity and condition, the car is being traded for a surprisingly low $40,454.

Finished in Medium Red, the sporty coupe has a cabin trim nearly matching the exterior in color – but not precisely. Although it has barely been used, the car had to undergo numerous repairs throughout the years. For instance, the paint coat was refreshed and the brake calipers repaired in 2022. A year before that, the engine was dismantled for radiator and valve cap repairs, among other things. In its current state, the car has a non-functional radio and an AC unit still in need of maintenance.

As for the slow-ish bidding, the C3 ‘Vette of the mid-1970s has always been a slow seller. The automaker equipped it with rather unremarkable engines, including the infamous 5.7-liter V8 rated as low as 180 horsepower. The example on sale benefits from a slightly more capable 210-hp unit, but it seems that it is also not that attractive to the potential buyers.
