Mansory dials the heat slightly down on its Ferrari SF90 Stradale

It is no secret that Mansory is a highly controversial and polarizing tuner that attracts the full range of reviews from ‘masterpiece’ to ‘gaudy drug lord aesthetic.’ For decades, its founder Kourosh Mansory has looked down on the critics, believing – not without a good reason – that they were not his clientele, anyway. Now, however, the company is finally trying for a ‘milder’ approach to luxury vehicle styling.

The new package targets the Ferrari SF90 and is dubbed ‘Soft Kit’. You may have seen a similar styling kit on the F8 Tributo around a year ago (see video). If you are wondering how exactly is the design in the gallery below ‘soft’ in any sense, that would be in comparison to Mansory’s own much more extreme take on the same car. The bumpers and the front splitter are less massive now, and the wing at the rear end is markedly different.

The wheels with yellow calipers seen behind the spokes stay the same, though, as do the side skirts and the air intakes. The suspension is as low as ever, but can be adjusted in a few moments.

A peek inside reveals an ocean of vivid-yellow leather trim speckled with islands of carbon fiber to rest your eyes upon. Paddle shifters under the steering wheel seem to be the only major addition.

The Soft Kit is compatible with both the SF90 Coupe and the SF90 Spider. Like the extreme Mansory version from a few months ago, this one gets an engine tune to 1,100 PS (1,085 hp / 809 kW).
