The world’s most hardcore Dodge Challenger hints at 215 mph top speed

Dodge has posted yet another video dedicated to the Last Call Edition of the Challenger. Like in all previous vids, the main character is a leprechaun and there are puzzles strewn all around for us to guess what to expect from the actual car.

We are shown an anemometer with a formula displayed on its screen: 105@[3,02x2,98]. When the leprechaun shouts into the device, a solution pops up: 1582.

What could it mean? Carscoops believes that the parts need to be analyzed individually in order to make sense. The number 105 could be the octane number of the fuel that lets the engine unleash its full potential. The very first teaser demonstrated a golden liquid that could have been ON 105 gas.

The numbers 3.02 and 2.98 are likely referring to the sprint time from zero to 100 km/h (62 miles per hour) and 96.6 km/h (60 miles per hour), respectively. Things get a bit mysterious with 1582. It might be the quarter-mile time, but we would expect Dodge’s strongest Challenger ever to be much faster than that. You could also get a possible quarter-mile time by multiplying the numbers in the square brackets (8.9996). In that case, the number 1582 could be referring to the boost pressure – hence the anemometer.

If you are feeling dizzy from all the riddles, here’s an easy one. The name of the video is Scream@215 mph. See? Nothing to guess here, Dodge pretty much states outright that the top speed is 346 kilometers per hour, or 215 mph.

The full reveal of the history’s most potent Challenger in production will take place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 20, 2023.
