2024 BMW 4-Series Cabrio nabbed on camera in mid-facelift

The convertible of the BMW 4-Series has been spotted running around on public roads. Judging by the spy shots, the giant radiator grille nostrils that caused a great deal of controversy when they were introduced are still in place.

It was actually the 4-Series that set the trend for oversized grilles on Bavarian cars. Many loyal fans failed to like them, but various representatives of the company, including both designers and executives, stressed that it was merely a matter of time before everyone got used to the new design.

Other than that, the car looks only slightly different from the pre-facelift version. The headlights sport new patterns and there are new taillights, bumpers and alloy wheels, but that’s about it. As for the M-Package of exterior trim options, it may become a part of the standard trim.

The launch is expected sometime later this spring. We expect a curved dual display inside with the infotainment system powered by iDrive 8. Both the standard 4-Series and the powerful M variants will likely get the same range of updates.
