Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed spied testing

Mercedes-AMG started unveiling its Mythos lineup of exclusive supercars in May this year, showing us a concept called PureSpeed. It has now been photographed on the street, and the company has supplied some additional info.

As we now know on official terms, Mercedes-Benz teamed up with famous Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina to produce the exotic speedster. The test car is already wrapping up its pre-production routines on the Nardo Ring track in northern Italy. Just how much involvement Pininfarina has in the project and what exactly it did is a secret at this time.

Production plans exist for 250 such speedsters. All production slots have already been sold out via preorders, despite the fact that the first examples won’t ship until next year.
